Luna Soft Culatta Reverse Umber - Brass

We restyled one of our best-sellers. Luna Soft is a medium-sized artisanal leather bag made of culatta reverse leather in a deep, tactile Umber brown. The bag features a secure zipper closure to keep your essentials safe, combining functionality with timeless design.
Part of the Autumn-Winter 2025–26 collection “Ultra Renaissance”, this piece embodies everything Tagliovivo has created in the past while gracefully stepping into a new era.
Inside, you’ll find a zipped pocket and an open leather compartment, both lined in 100% natural linen for a touch of understated luxury. On the flap, a hand-forged brass ring adorns and secures the closure — a signature detail that speaks to the brand’s artisanal essence.
Each Luna Soft bag is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. This is not just an accessory — it’s an enduring companion, designed to last a lifetime.

natural characteristics

Variations in tone, texture and shading are not flaws: they are the fingerprint of the hide. Over time, scratches will soften, colours will deepen and the leather will settle into something unmistakably yours. These are not signs of wear. They are signs of life.

details

Leather

This bag is crafted from vegetable-tanned culatta reverse leather, a material celebrated for its rich tonal variations, natural shading, and textural depth—hallmarks of genuine horse leather. These unique characteristics are not imperfections, but expressions of authenticity that make each piece truly one of a kind.

Brass Accessories

At Tagliovivo, we traditionally use wrought iron accessories as distinctive decorative elements. To further elevate the value and character of our bags, we also incorporate hand-forged brass hardware—each piece crafted individually, making every detail truly unique.
This artisanal approach reflects one of the most genuine expressions of Italian heritage, which we are proud to preserve and celebrate through our work.

leather & hardware care

Water Exposure

Vegetable-tanned leather is not water-resistant. If the bag gets wet, gently blot the surface with a soft, dry cloth, absorbing as much moisture as possible without rubbing. Let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators, direct heat and sunlight.

Cleaning & Stains

Full-grain, full culatta and raw culatta leathers can be nourished with a soft cotton cloth and a small amount of moisturizing cream, applied evenly across the entire surface; note that it may slightly darken the leather. Hand-dyed leathers are best cleaned with a small amount of glycerin soap, applied in the same way. On polished leathers, avoid creams and use only a soft, dry cloth. On reverse culatta, use only a soft suede brush, following the direction of the nap. In all cases, do not treat isolated stains directly, as this may fix or darken the mark rather than remove it.

Conditioning

Use only products suited to the specific leather, apply them sparingly and always test them on a hidden area first. Avoid oils and waxes, which may darken the surface or alter its colour and finish.

Hardware Care

Our hooks, rings, and buckles are hand-forged in wrought iron or brass. Keep them dry, wiping them with a soft cloth after damp days. Over time, the iron may darken naturally, in harmony with the leather.

Storage

When not in use, store the bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in a breathable cotton bag. Fill it lightly with paper to help it keep its shape, and avoid hanging it by the strap for long periods.
