Description
The Doctor W is a compact yet distinctive bag, balancing clean geometry with an effortless sense of everyday functionality. Crafted from vegetable-tanned, hand-dyed horse leather, the surface reveals rich tonal nuances and a softly matte finish that will evolve, developing a unique patina with wear.
Designed to be carried by hand or worn crossbody, this version features a slender shoulder strap, adjustable through a hand-forged iron buckle and holes, preserving the bag’s raw, artisanal character. The structured flap and minimal top handle enhance its sculptural silhouette, while the vibrant turquoise tone brings a fresh, luminous presence.
The interior is fully lined in 100% linen and includes both a zipped pocket and an open leather pocket for effortless organization. The signature hand-forged wrought iron hook closure adds a tactile, sculptural detail that quietly defines the piece.
Part of the Spring–Summer 2025 “Rocks & Stones” collection, the Doctor W reflects Tagliovivo’s deep connection to material and territory. Entirely handmade, each bag carries subtle variations that make it a truly one-of-a-kind object, shaped to last a lifetime.

Care
One of the unique qualities of vegetable-tanned leather is the beautiful patina it develops over time, so you can enjoy using your bag without hesitation. However, keep in mind that this leather is not water-resistant. If it comes into contact with water, dry it immediately by gently and evenly absorbing the moisture. Avoid applying care products directly to water stains, as they may make the marks more visible.
For regular cleaning, we recommend using a soft cotton cloth with glycerin soap, applying it evenly across the entire surface. This will help nourish the leather and extend its lifespan.
Variations in color, shading, and texture are natural characteristics of vegetable-tanned leather and reflect its authenticity and quality. Over time, signs of aging — such as scratches, patina, or small stains — are not flaws but rather features that enhance the unique character of your bag.
